The Drywater Band's credentialed lineup of music industry professionals includes notable recording artists, choreographers, session players, touring musicians, record producers, and certified audio engineers. With 14 lifetime Grammy awards/credits distributed amongst various Drywater personnel, the group has set a new standard for live corporate, special event, & wedding entertainment. By matching the most appropriate vocalists and musicians to specific genre preferences, Drywater provides an authentic and highly customized entertainment experience. Instrumentation: The Houston, Texas based Drywater Band performs as a 3 to 12-piece group consisting of male vocals, female vocals, keyboards, pedal steel guitar, lead guitar, saxophone, trumpet, bass, drums, fiddle, and percussion. Various Drywater musicians and crew have performance, recording, and/or touring credits with Taj Mahal, Hank Williams Jr., Bonnie Raitt, Santana, La Mafia, Doug Supernaw, Isreal Houghton, James Fortune, Lonestar, Ray Price, Jay Leno, Jason Mraz, Don Henley, Kelly Osbourne, The Wailers, Smokey Robinson, Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Willie Nelson, and many more. The Drywater Band plays a wide variety of different musical
styles while maintaining a high degree of authenticity. The
band's 300+ song repertoire consists of Top 40, Rock, Country, R & B, Pop, Jazz, Latin, and Hip-Hop.
Production:
The Drywater Band's production includes premium sound, wireless microphones, energy efficient LED stage wash lighting, break music service, and master of ceremonies. From an intimate 50 person dinner in a small banquet room to a 1250 person corporate event in a 30,000 sq. ft. ballroom, Drywater can handle nearly any production challenge with the band's own equipment. Weddings: Since 2004, The Drywater Band has performed at over 275 wedding receptions. The group works closely with Houston, Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio brides, grooms, parents, and wedding planners to ensure that entertainment for your special day is scheduled and performed with special attention to detail. Corporate: In addition to providing high-energy musical performances for corporate parties, Drywater can provide dancers, instructors, and interactive lessons. In additional, The group is well adept at performing "house band" duties at corporate awards ceremonies and presentations. Technical directors can rest assured knowing the band's familiarity with "stings", "in-ear monitors", "talk-back mics", "reprisals", "cues", and "stem mixes".
