Experience

Since 2004, The Drywater Band has performed at over 100 wedding receptions. Previous venues include Ritz-Carlton Las Vegas, Toyota Center, George R. Brown Convention Center, The Magnolia Hotel, Hotel ZaZa, Houston Hyatt-Downtown, The Westin Oaks Galleria, River Oaks Country Club, Houston Country Club, Rockefeller Hall, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Houston Junior League, The Houstonian, Kim-Son Ballroom, Woodlands Resort & Conference Center, Salt Lick-Thurman's Mansion in Driftwood, Northwest Forest, & Blackhorse Country Club.

The Drywater Band's extensive repertoire consists of over 250 country, rock, and pop songs. Many of the tunes on Drywater's song list are fitting for first, father-daughter, and mother-son dances.

Master of Ceremonies

Brian Sacco & Dixie Trahan, Drywater's lead vocalists, are well adept at performing master of ceremonies duties. Common announcements include bride and groom introduction, the serving of meals, special dances, cake cutting, toasts, garter & bouquet toss, and departure.

The Drywater Band provides DJ service during cocktail period, dinner, and band breaks. Choose your own songs or let our DJ pick from his extensive catalog of hits.

Special Dances

The Drywater Band knows several special wedding dances including The Grand March, Hava Nagila, and The Second Line.

Sound & Lighting

The Drywater Band's sound & lighting production is streamlined to deliver maximum results with minimum space & power requirements. The band uses ultra efficient L.E.D. lighting with a state of the art Mackie/Bose PA system.

Ceremony

Dixie Trahan, Drywater's female lead, and Bernard Pierre, Drywater's keyboardists, are also available to perform at your ceremony. Dixie's recent ceremony selections include "You are the Wind Beneath My Wings" and "When You Say Nothing at All". Bernard is available to perform special piano solo requests. The Drywater Band can also provide DJ service for the ceremony.
